Edie Lott
Edie feels a real call and passion for reaching out to care for those Christ called, “the least of these.” She is a retired Special Education teacher.Edie and her spouse, Denny have been active members of TLPC for sixteen years. They also co-chair the Sierra Pacific Synod of the ELCA Hunger Network. They are Christian anti-hunger activists, who believe Christ calls all Christians to work to end hunger and extreme poverty in our time. Favorite Quote: “God is in the slums. In the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the silence of a mother who has infected her child with a virus that will end both of their lives. God is in the cries heard under the ruble of war. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them.” U2′s Bono
