Earl and his wife Cathy live in Serene Lakes on Donner Summit. Earl graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and spent most of his career as an electrical contractor. They both retired in June 2012 and moved to a house they have been building for ten years. They have two grown married children.
Earl fell in love with the Tahoe-Truckee area in the early 1970’s and knew he wanted to retire here. Before moving to the summit, Earl lived in the San Luis Obispo area for over 40 years and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church for the last 15 years.
