Truckee Day-TLPC Join Hands Day Saturday, June 6, 2009
Town Cleanup and Evening Party
On Saturday, June 6th TLPC members and friends will join the rest of Truckee Residents to clean up Truckee! On Saturday morning from about 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., I need a crew of youth and adults to help clean up Glenshire Drive from the bridge to town. We will not be the only crew this year. This is not a safe job for families with children under 12. If you are participating with younger children, please do clean up Truckee by choosing a safer street in your own neighborhood.
In the evening we will gather at the Lott’s for a Join Hands Day Party. Thrivent is paying for the food! Everyone’s invited. Just come and have fun. We will gather around 5:30 p.m. and eat around 6:00 p.m. at 10435 Royal Crest. This is a chance is give back to our community, enjoy fellowship with people of all ages and have a good meal together. I do need you to sign-up for the party, so we’ll know how much food to order. I also need those of you who will work on Glenshire Drive to sign-up on the work crew sheet.
