Parish Associate – Scott Trevithick

Scott is a Pastor in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) who has been an occasional preacher at TLPC since 2006 and has been its Parish Associate since its chartering in September 2008. 

He received his Masters of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1995 and has served congregations in Tennessee; Philadelphia, PA; and Reno. 

His undergraduate degree is in Business Administration from the University of California at Riverside and he has additional certificates from the University of Nevada, Reno in the Excellence in Nonprofit Management and Essentials of Fundraising programs. He is a past Board President of the Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center at Lake Tahoe. He currently serves on boards with the United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra and Renown Medical Center and is a nonprofit management consultant. He is currently a volunteer Chaplain at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Reno. 

Scott lives with his wife Kendra and their children Grant and Claire in Reno. They enjoy hiking, camping, biking, and downhill skiing. Scott is a volunteer with the Washoe County School District’s Read and Succeed literacy program and has coached Grant’s youth sports teams in baseball, basketball, and football.
