Mario Ornelas, new director of Tahoe Truckee Young Life (YL), will be guest speaker at our service this Sunday. Mario has been a YL leader in San Antonio, TX and San Jose, CA and moved to the area in July 2015. He and his leadership team (including Alana Avalos, who is also the Freshman Volleyball Coach at Truckee High) have been hosting club meetings in Truckee on Monday evenings since the fall. Young Life thinks the world of kids and believes that they have a right to hear about Jesus Christ in a non-threatening way in a language they can understand. Families with middle schoolers and high schoolers are especially encouraged to come, connect with Mario, and learn about WyldLife Club at Alder Creek Middle School and Young Life Club for high schoolers.
